Replacing a broken door handle

Our client came to us with a broken handle to their sliding door made in 1970. The door handles are no longer available.

What’s cheaper and more time-savvy than a brand new set of sliding doors? A 3D printed door handle turned around in under a week.

Some Of Our Machinery

The first video documents AVA’s first trial of Cerakote, the industry leading finish for 3D printing. We are excited to perfect this process on various products, enabling variation in coating for our customers in the very near future.

The second is our UltiMaker 3D printer. It uses either PLA or TPU filament to create parts for the CNC machine or jigs to use within our factory. It can also create a 1 to 1 print of a customer’s exclusive section that we supported to design.
